School Discipline
1. Students must be punctual. Entry will not be permitted after 5 minutes of the school time.
2. At the first bell, students should make their way to the place of assembly in absolute silence. At the second bell, the assembly will be commenced.
3. Movement in corridors should be in silence and in an orderly way.
4. The students are not permitted to move out of the class without the class outpass issued by the school.
5. Students are prohibited from carrying objectionable literature / material in school.
6. Cell phone and other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited within the school premises.
7. Disobedience and disrespect towards teachers or immoral influence will justify dismissal of the student.
Posting of any derogatory remark or photograph against the school teacher / peer group on social networking sites (eg. Facebook/WhatsApp/You tube / Twitter, etc.) will be treated sternly and may lead to termination from the school.
8. It is compulsory for all students to converse in English. It is imperative for the students to communicate with each other and their teacher only in English during school hours & in school bus. Parents’ co-operation for the same is solicited.
9. The school shall not be held responsible for any unforeseen accident/ illness or mishap which may occur in the school, during school hours or school trips.
10. As regards Promotion/Detention, the decision of the Principal is final.
School Uniform:
1. Students must come to school in proper School Uniform, Uniform is compulsory at all school functions,parent-teacher meetings and on any visit the child may make to the school during working hours.
2. All students should be habitually clean and neatly dressed.
3. I-Card is a compulsory part of school uniform and hence should be carried to school daily. In case of loss or damage the student will have to pay Rs. 50/- for reissuing of the same.
4. The use of Kajal / Mehandi / Tattoos and other forms of ornamentation which include jewellery or expensive watches like smart watches is not permitted. Boys are expected to keep their hair short and trimmed beard (No trendy hair cuts like spikes etc. to be worn). Girls are expected to dress long hair in plaits.
School Property
1. Students are expected to respect school property. No student should damage the school furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonged to school. Any school property damaged even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher/cooridnator or the Principal.
2. Students found tearing pages of any book in the library, stealing a book or desecrating, will be suitably penalized. If found guilty of damaging a book the students will have to replace the desecrated book with a new one. They will also be barred from using the school library for a month.
Leave Rules:
1. A student is expected to be regular in attending school. Hundred percent attendances are expected from every student.
2. No half days or short leaves will be granted to the students. In case of an emergency, leave can only be sanctioned by the Principal, provided the Parent Guardian comes to take the child home. Festivals /family functions will not be considered as a case of emergency.
3. Overall 75% attendance is compulsory during the academic year. No student will be absent from school without obtaining prior sanction from the Principal. A leave application duly signed by the parents must be submitted to the class teacher in advance or after availing the leave.
4. Absence in case of emergency / sudden illness or unforeseen circumstances must be intimated to the school the next day.
5. In case of illness of more than 3 days, a medical certificate by a registered medical practitioner should be enclosed along with the leave application.
6. CBSE guidelines will be followed strictly in Board classes. A student with less than 75% attendance will be debarred from appearing in the Board Examinations (X and XII).
7.In case of absence exceeding five days in a month without explanation, the name of the student will be struck off the rolls.
8. Re-admission may be done at the discretion of the Principal only.
9. Re-admission charges will be payable at the time of re-admission.
10. Leave exceeding three days for the board classes will be sanctioned only by the Principal, in eithercase the student will have to submit a certificate signed by the CMO/as per CBSE byelaws.
11. No Halfday or Short Leave will be Granted to Students
Library
A school library is a structure within the school that houses a collection of books, audio-visual material and other content that serves common use to meet the educational, informative and recreational needs of the users.
The school maintain a well furnished library providing access to over 25000 books, periodicals, newspapers, and magazines etc.
